Prophecy: A Holy Paradigm Shift Is Upon the Church

As I released this word before the intercessors in our church recently, the presence of God gripped me in such a way that I could sense this word shifting me personally. Last week in my private time, I heard these words in my spirit: "Get your affairs in order." It seemingly came out of nowhere, but I knew that the Holy Spirit was sharing a word with me, extending beyond my own personal existence. I thought about these words for a day or so until I heard the words "paradigm shift" in my spirit. The Lord was putting a word in me to share with the body of Christ, and it has stirred in me ever since. These two separate words are linked, and He wants our attention. A holy paradigm shift is upon us. Do we want it?

A paradigm shift is defined in the Cambridge Dictionary as "a time when the usual and accepted way of doing or thinking about something changes completely." Paradigm shifts are found throughout the Word of God, and our time is no different. The church has created usual and acceptable ways to conduct things, and God is looking to change it completely.

The paradigm shift coming is not only full of glory and intimacy, but it brings with it a call to holiness and consecration. This is an inward work as we surrender to His will and His heart. It is infectious and countercultural. We cannot comprehend the fullness of the vision. However, one thing is for sure: We are to be prepared and to get our affairs in order as the body of Christ.

2016: The Year of the Rising Remnant

Are you ready to be part of the Joshua Generation? (Lightstock )

This prophetic word for 2016 addresses neither the world, nor the church at large, but instead the remnant church.

For the past seven years (2009-2015) the Lord addressed His remnant as the Jacob Generation—who with clean hands and a pure heart daily ascended the hill of the Lord to seek His face in the secret place. This remnant received a promise of blessing from the Lord that will now be realized in this next seven-year season (2016-2022).

"Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He will receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah" (Ps. 24:3-6, MEV).

During this next seven-year season, the Lord is bringing forth His rising remnant as the Joshua Generation, who will accompany the King of Glory, the Lord of Armies, into battle. Indeed, the remnant church is entering a season not only of blessing, but also of glory and of war.

"Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, that the King of glory may enter. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift up, you everlasting doors, that the King of glory may enter. Who is He—this King of glory? The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah" (Ps. 24:7-10, MEV).

In order to better understand the season God is moving the remnant church into, we need to contrast and compare the characteristics of the season we have exited with the season we are now entering.

Intimacy vs. Authority

Intimacy with God precedes authority in God. Over the past seven years, the Lord has been wooing His Bride into the holy place. Like Jacob, who at Bethel saw the angels of God ascending and descending upon a ladder through the gate of heaven, the Lord has beckoned His remnant to seek His face in the secret place. As the Jacob Generation has come to know the Lord and His purposes in the former season, He can now trust them with His authority and power as the Joshua Generation in this new season (Gen. 28:16-17).

Knowing vs. Doing

As the Jacob Generation, the remnant church has come to know God. Now as the Joshua Generation, the remnant church must do exploits for God. In these last days, it is crucial that the remnant church arise and expand the rule of King Jesus in the earth. Thy Kingdom come!

"By flatteries he will corrupt those who act wickedly toward the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and take action" (Daniel 11:32, MEV).

Revelation vs. Revolution

The Jacob Generation, having come to a revelation of God, must now, as the Joshua Generation, lead a righteous revolution for God. Through the spirit of wisdom and understanding, we have come to know God's ways, words and works. Through the spirit of knowledge, we have come to know God's purposes, provision and power. However, in this next season, the Spirit of the Lord is entrusting to us His divine authority and anointing that we might lead a righteous revolution. Moreover, the spirit of council is revealing God's strategic battle plans while the spirit of might is releasing God's power that we might do exploits in His name (Eph. 1:17-19).

Waiting vs. Warfare

Intimacy with God requires waiting on God. As we wait upon the Lord, our strength is being renewed, enabling us to soar as eagles, run through a troop and jump over walls into the enemy camp. In other words, waiting on God produces the strength necessary to war with God. No less than five times did the Lord exhort Joshua to "be strong and of good courage" as he prepared Israel to possess their promised land and depose the giants of Canaan (Josh. 1:6-7, 9, 18; Josh. 10:25; Ps. 18:29; Is. 40:31).

Abiding Under vs. Presiding Over

The Jacob Generation dwelt in the secret place of the Most High and abided under the shadow of the Almighty. In contrast, the Joshua Generation presided over the enemies of Canaan, trampling lions and serpents underfoot. In other words, the Jacob Generation retreated into the presence of God, whereas the Joshua Generation now advances into enemy territory (Ps. 91:1-2, 13).

Concession vs. Possession

Jacob played "Let's Make a Deal" with his Uncle Laban to obtain his prized possession—Rachel. After laboring for seven years for Rachel, Jacob was deceived into marrying Leah, Rachel's sister. After making concessions to obtain what man had promised, Jacob became disillusioned. On the contrary, Joshua led Israel out of the wilderness to take possession of what God had promised. Likewise, the remnant church is entering into a season of possession, as it is our time to possess the promises of God (Gen. 29:18, 27).

Joshua 1:3, 11 says, "I have given you every place that the sole of your foot shall tread, as I said to Moses'" (MEV).

Intimate Worship vs. Warfare Praise

The remnant church is transitioning from ministering to the Lord to ministering for the Lord. As priests, the Jacob Generation worshipped at His holy hill at the feet of Jesus. As kings, the Joshua Generation, through high praise, now executes judgments secured from heavenly courts that bind rulers of darkness over nations (Ps. 149:5-9).

Preparation vs. Promotion

Over the past seven years, the Jacob Generation has been prepared in the crucible of affliction and has found solace in the secret place—hidden away with God. Having passed the wilderness tests of affliction, neglect, abuse and silence, the Joshua Generation in this new season will arise, emerge from the shadows and experience divine promotion.

Reproach vs. Recommendation

The reproach of men experienced by the Jacob Generation will be overshadowed by the commendation of God. In this season, the Lord will demonstrate that He has not changed His mind about the Joshua Generation by recommending and honoring them before men. Those that have stood in the remnant's way in the past season will be of no consequence (Is. 61:7, Josh. 1:5).

Obscurity vs. Opportunity

Years of obscurity will be swallowed up by divine opportunity. While God hid the Jacob Generation to protect and prepare them in the former season, He is now bringing the Joshua Generation to the forefront to fulfill divine destiny. Those who have been faithful over little for years will now be ruler over much. For many in the remnant church, 2016 will be a make-or-break year. God is opening doors for the remnant that no man can shut. Indeed, the remnant church is entering into a season of divine grace and opportunity that we must embrace by faith. It's now or never! No more delay!

"The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder. Then he shall open, and no one shall shut. And he shall shut, and no one shall open" (Is. 22:22, MEV).

Hardship & Pain vs. Harvest & Gain

Jacob labored in the wilderness for seven years to receive and enjoy his prized possession—Rachel. During this painful season of preparation, God produced perseverance, character and hope in Jacob. In this new season, Jacob's hope will be realized, as the Lord moves the remnant from a season of deference into a season of preference. The sufferings of the wilderness will not be worthy to be compared with the glory revealed through us in our promised land flowing with milk and honey (Deut. 26:9; Prov. 13:12; Rom. 5:3-5; Rom. 8:18).

Incarceration vs. Liberation

Jacob suffered a form of incarceration for 14 years under his Uncle Laban, whereas Joshua was liberated from 40 years in the wilderness. The year 2016 is a Jubilee year in which the Lord is liberating His remnant church from reproach, shame, doubt, cynicism and grief. It's a year to proclaim and experience liberty in every aspect of our lives (Lev. 25:10).

Sanctification vs. Supernatural

The degree to which the Jacob Generation sanctified themselves over the past seven years will be the measure in which signs, wonders and miracles will be wrought through the Joshua Generation in this new season. Tomorrow is here! The time is now for the remnant to arise and the Lord to do wonders among us.

"Joshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will perform wondrous deeds among you'" (Josh. 3:5, MEV).

All You have Been Walking Through

is NOT for Nothing

I saw the winepress of heaven over the lives of many believers and many in that hidden place of pressing. The pressing has been intense and at times it feels as if the pressing could not increase anymore, but the pressing continued. The pressing from various sources, God has used all of them for the GOOD of His people and I saw such pure heavenly rich, glorious wine flowing from the winepress of the lives of God's people. It was saturated in the fragrance of heaven.

As I watched this pressing happening the more pressing that occurred the more the Father poured His love, His strength, His comfort and revelation into the hearts and lives of His people. So even though the pressing was so intense, MORE was being poured in than the pressing was seemingly taking. So unaware the people of God were in this hidden place of deep pressing, but they were actually living in a greater overflow of His love, strength, comfort and revelation than they ever had been.

As this glorious wine flowed from the lives and hearts of believers, I saw crowns flowing out in amidst this glorious heavenly wine. There were names written upon each of these crowns.

SAMUEL

DAVID

JOSEPH

DANIEL

These crowns fell at the feet of many believers and Jesus came and placed these crowns upon their heads. As I looked closer, on the front of the crown was one of those names mentioned above but on the back was the name of the believer. Instantly I knew that this pressing had been to bring these ones to the place of preparation where they would carry a similar anointing to the names placed on the front of these crowns, but not identical as they were created unique and individual, beautiful and different, hence their own name. I knew they were going to be used in similar ways to these heroes of the faith.

Encourage My People

Jesus said to me, "Lana, encourage my people that what they have been walking through is not for nothing, but for a greater purpose, vision and mission than they have imagined." I saw Him smile the most beautiful smile and His face was radiant with joy, expectancy and His eyes danced looking at His people, SO PROUD! With a wink and a smile He says to me, "Lana, tell them, it is going to be GREAT."

All of a sudden, I find myself standing before a stage that looked like a runway where models walk to display outfits. But this stage was so different. It was draped in the most beautiful curtains, like robes, that were red and with a smile on my face my heart knew that it was a sanctuary. A place that was so special, an inner chamber and the red curtains all around were reminders of the blood of the Lamb, and all that He purchased. There was glorious heavenly light in every part of the room that filled the room with such warmth and joy, such peace that nothing else mattered than being in this place.

It was the place that represented deep intimacy with God, the inner chamber, but also a stage set. I wondered why there was a stage, and into my heart came the words "to be placed on any stage of influence or stage of the world, it is birthed and remained upon by remaining in the place of deep intimacy with Me."

Jesus then stepped onto the stage, and my eyes filled with tears as I could feel His pleasure over His people, His complete joy at the release and unveiling.

He looked at me with His beautiful eyes and said to me, "It is time!!"

One by one He began to bring forth His people wearing crowns, each with the names written on the crowns. They were so beautiful and so wonderfully prepared.

"All for such a time as this," He spoke and handed each one a key, and the keys that each one of these were handed unlocked doors to their destiny. I saw them go into the world to begin to release all that was poured into them through the intense period of pressing.

In this encounter, I felt to encourage the people of God that ALL you have walked has not been for nothing. It has ALL had a perfect purpose. God has used it all, the good and the bad to bring you to this place, for such a time as this. All the things the enemy threw at you, He has turned, to bring you to this place of release.

New Mantles

God is releasing mantles right now in the heavenlies. These mantles are not to be treated lightly and they are mantles that have been released to those who have been through the pressing, that have walked the path of great sacrifice and continued to hold onto their Beloved. They have gone deeper into the inner chamber and pressed through when everything else has screamed at them to give up. The place where they have come to a place of such depth of intimacy that every part of them yearns and delights for Him and living before the audience of One.

He is releasing you now. He is releasing the Esthers, the Samuels, the Davids, the Josephs, the Daniels into the world. There is going to be an increase in dream interpretation in the Church and in the world, an increase in creative revelation in worship, an increase in the gift of administration and excellence, an increase in open doors to speak before people of influence releasing Kingdom principles.

Blueprints from heaven that have been given to the people of God in their pressing, in the winepress, the visions are being released now into the world and are going to be released into large corporations and these Kingdom principles released through these ones will not only bring increase to their corporations but salvations, signs and wonders into the marketplace.

Transformation in Governments

I felt the Lord wants His people believing for the transformation of GOVERNMENTS. Many of the keys that were released in this encounter were keys to unlock governments and minister to leaders of governments. There is a revival coming within governments. Jesus is going to visit world leaders in tremendous encounters in the night and great favor opening up through these ones being sent in to proclaim the Word of the Lord and bring about a Kingdom shift. Nations is now shifting nations with His love and Glory and He is moving into government to bring a REVIVAL OF HIS LOVE, which will bring even greater radical shifts in nations.

His People will Shine

I was then taken back into this encounter where I saw many of His people sitting on the floor around the stage of this inner chamber and they were weeping. I watched as Jesus went and knelt down beside each one and I heard their heart cries, "I am not a Joseph, I am not an Esther, I am not a Daniel." Their hearts were full of insignificance, not knowing their value, and bound in an orphan spirit.

I saw Jesus touch the chin of each one, one by one and lift their heads to look at Him in the eyes. He spoke with such conviction, such love and compassion and He said, "THIS IS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU" and He stretched out His arms and I could see His heart, and inside His heart, I saw the crucifixion and as I saw Him on the Cross I saw Him look at each one of these and He spoke so tenderly and beautifully, "It was ALL FOR YOU!" and the people of God began to sob and sob as the love and kindness of God enveloped them, healing their hearts and breaking off the orphan spirit. "All so you could be Mine," such healing and restoration was coming into their hearts that I began to weep.

He then bent back down and handed each one a scroll. As they unraveled this scroll there were pictures of each moment of their lives, when they were children and fell and hurt their knee, to when they were adults and got a job promotion, dreams coming true and in each picture I saw HIM! Every moment of their life mattered. My eyes then gazed over to the list on the other side of the scroll and it was every hearts desire, every dream and how He had molded, shaped, planned, perfected them and their hearts cries in His presence to bring them into the place of fullness and deeper knowledge of Him and His goodness. The presence and LOVE of the Father was ALL over this scroll with the words ringing in my ears, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." (John 14:9)

These ones stood to their feet, free of the orphan spirit KNOWING their value and knowing the unshakeable truth that they ARE LOVED and they are a SON AND DAUGHTER of the most GLORIOUS GOOD GOD!! I saw them go into the world into their day-to-day lives and they were releasing BOMBS OF LOVE through their words and their actions and attitudes and LOVE REVIVALS were happening EVERYWHERE they went. There were deposits of God's love being released everywhere, their feet trod in signs and wonders.

These ones who thought they were insignificant and of no value, not knowing how LOVED they were, were releasing a LOVE REVIVAL everywhere they went. People were coming to know Jesus at a rapid pace because THEY WERE KNOWN FOR THEIR LOVE.

These ones were even ministering in the Church to those who do not know their love, that were caught in division, caught in unforgiveness, bitterness and hatred and were releasing impartations of God's love through their testimonies and others were being set free in the Kingdom, reawakened and revived and then going into the world of their day to day lives and releasing His love. It was a LOVE REVOLUTION!

No matter where you are, no matter what you are walking, no matter what you have walked, as you are part of His Kingdom, it is YOUR TIME TO SHINE! It is YOUR TIME TO ARISE! Stay deep in the inner chamber with Him. What you have walked was not for nothing. It has been for such a time as this. Doors are opening now for your destiny.

The world is waiting for you. It is time to take your place. The pressing even though was one of the most difficult things you have ever walked, was one of your greatest blessing. You just watch how He is going to use you! The best is yet to come.

As He said to me in the encounter, "Tell them Lana, 'It's going to be GREAT!!!!'"

Yes, There is More Than This!

worship experience — Are you looking for an experience or to develop intimacy with Christ? (Lightstock )

It seems to me that the goal of some has shifted from seeking intimacy to seeking to be supernatural. I've learned the hard way in a lifetime of exposure to the things of the Spirit that if your goal is to be supernatural, then you'll end up shipwrecked.

If, however, your goal is intimacy with the Father and you hunger for His nature and character to be your own, then you'll end up being supernatural.

This subtle shift of focus on so many fronts has created a growing sense of disappointment in an increasing number of people. The same sense of disappointment is gradually taking root in the so-called seeker sensitive churches, which have not been part of the flow of revival. Even there, hearts are crying out, "There must be something more than this!"

As 2013 came to a close, the youth group at our church began to see an influx of young people from a fast-growing megachurch in the Denver metro area, all saying, "I need more. I'm tired of the emptiness over there. It's not enough!"

Excerpts from some emails I received illustrate well what I am hearing on a broad spectrum. See if something doesn't cry out, "that's me!" when you read this one.

This person wrote: "I'm 'sick' of all the me/focused 'worship' music and the whole 'me getting my feeling' emphasis, along with all the hoops to keep jumping through, along with the latest 'prophetic' word/vision stuff—and not to leave out the 'alignment' movement. More hoops! There I said it! It is time to get back to the Word, Christ-like character, and the Great Commission and kick all the latest charismatic-gimmick hoops aside. Isn't it time to seek the genuine blessings of the Spirit and thresh out the chaff?'

What we once did in innocence, obeying the sweet moving of the Spirit, we now make into methods, structures, impartations, and alignments. But Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 18:3). There's the secret!

The answer to our hunger comes not from a focus on receiving from God, although we'll never stop receiving. We serve a giving God, a loving Father, and one of the highest forms of praise we can offer Him is to gratefully receive what He sends.

A growing number of believers, however, are coming to understand that the balm to soothe our growing ache focuses not on what we are getting or receiving but on what we're becoming. It's about the impartation of the Father's heart, nature, and character in us until we truly can be called sons and daughters of God who, from the deepest reaches of the heart, radiate who our Father is. Therein lies the second part of the message of the Father's love.

John 1:12 says, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God. In Hebrew linguistic usage, to be a "son of" or a "child of" something is to resemble that thing in a significant way. Romans 8:19 applies the usage as well: "For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God."

I see a developing movement focused on impartation of the nature of the Father in character, disposition, heart, and spirit. It is a time of conformity to "the image of His Son" (Rom. 8:29). It has nothing to do with religious legalism or performance and everything to do with transformation of character from the inside out until we have the Father's heart as our own.

God's heart, then, would be to move us in this season from the remedial to the transformational, from receiving to becoming, so that we could exude the nature of the Father and the world would see and know Him by what they see and sense in us.

We're not living for an experience. We're living for oneness with our Father through our Savior, Jesus Christ in heart, character, and spirit. There lies the substance we long for. It leads to a greater intimacy with the heart of the Father than we have ever known.

Prayer Power for the Week of May 11, 2015

This week, pray that the Lord would continue His transforming work in your heart so that you would carry His presence and reflect the image of Christ in a dark and dying world. Continue to pray for open doors to share the gospel and be a blessing to those who desperately need Christ.

Pray that we, as the body of Christ, would unite in prayer and purpose for the persecuted church and worldwide revival. Remember those victimized by street violence, earthquakes and other natural disasters. Pray that Israel and our own nation will fulfill God's plan and purpose in this season (Rom. 8:29; 12:1-3; 2 Cor. 3:18).

'The flowers have already appeared in the land;

The time has arrived for pruning the vines,

And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.

'The fig tree has ripened its figs,

And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance.

Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,

And come along!'"

As my bride came down the church aisle that beautiful early evening, I sang these Scriptural words to her that I had written in my song, “Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come along.” Though I had intended to sing several verses, I choked up on the second one. My heart was just overwhelmed at her beauty, her movement in that flowing white laced gown, and the presence of the Lord’s Holy Spirit in that place of matrimony. The time had come for us to be joined together as man and wife.

What seemed to have been a decade long wait was about to be fulfilled in that moment, as we were acknowledging the Lord’s plans and purposes for unity. Out of our desire to share the love in our hearts, He would also bring forth a family to demonstrate His love on the earth, in preparation for the eternal love in heaven.

From that day forward, we have grown in our care and provision for each other, sharing the gifts and spiritual fruit we each have had to give. In physical, emotional and spiritual intimate moments, we have experienced a touch of what the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have shared for all eternity. Believing that through the times of trials and required persistency, our hearts have been bonded together, the intimacy becoming more real in our lives together.

Being intimate with one other is not an “overnight sensation” that one can have with another simply out of a physical act. To participate in the intent of the Father’s love for mankind, there must be that commitment to be joined together for the long haul; to stand strong when the temptation is to flee; to keep the promise that was spoken at the altar years before. Intimacy is not for those who are looking for a quick satisfaction of one’s emotional lust, but is given to committed hearts who have been and continue to be willing to sacrifice for each other, time and time again. From that solid promise to stay through sickness and health, riches or poverty, until death do we part, the intimate moments are fully experienced, fulfilling the longing in each heart to be accepted, nourished and kept in committed and submitted love.

In today’s society there is the prevailing belief that there can be emotional intimacy without having a strong commitment to one another beyond a sexual act. When the Lord says that sex outside of marriage is wrong, it is because the Creator knows that a deep soulish tie will occur, bringing hurt and lasting pain when an improper joining happens. We were not created to share this intimate act in a non-binding relationship.

The emotional and physical act also carries with it a spiritual bond that has to be kept within the protected walls of marriage. Thus doing that which was intended only within the committed relationship of sacred marriage will produce an emotional scar, keeping us from experiencing real love. It will also leave a strong imprint that will need to be healed later. Our loving Father thus has warned over and over again that sexual intimacy is for the marriage bed only.

Laws are made to protect us, not to keep us from the Lord’s goodness and favor. Abiding in His laws of love and protection will bring eternal satisfaction, keeping our hearts pure and emotions strong. Breaking His loving laws will produce destruction in our spirit, soul and body.

Intimacy between a man and a woman is a beautiful gift from God. Keeping it that way is a protection for our society and the good of all mankind.
